Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal. Please read the pages below before you submit.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Account details, manuscript submissions, reviewer comments, usage data and correspondence.

How we use it

To process and review submissions, manage peer review, communicate decisions, publish articles, improve the platform, meet legal requirements and prevent fraud.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. Information may be shared with editors, reviewers and service providers, or with authorities when the law requires it. Published articles show author names, affiliations and ORCID iDs, and are publicly accessible and indexed by search engines.

Security

We use access controls and hashed passwords. No system is completely secure.

Retention

Data is kept as long as needed for legal, dispute and academic-record purposes. Published articles are kept permanently.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, or to withdraw your consent.

Cookies

The site uses essential cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

Third-party links

The journal is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites such as ORCID, Crossref or DOAJ.

Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under 16.
